Onion-Smothered Turkey Patties

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ¾ cup thinly sliced red onion
- 3 Tbsp water
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Gently mix together turkey, Worcestershire sauce, ¼ tsp salt, and garlic using your hands; shape into 3 (½-inch-thick) patties.
- Cook patties in 1 Tbsp hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until done. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
- Sauté onion in 1 Tbsp hot oil in same skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned. Stir in water, ¼ tsp salt, and pepper; cook until thoroughly heated. Spoon onion over patties.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (20-oz) pkg frozen mashed cauliflower
- 6 Tbsp shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 green onion, chopped
- ½ Tbsp butter
Side Dish Instructions
- Microwave cauliflower according to package directions. Stir in cheese, onion, and butter.
