Ingredients

  • 1 lb top sirloin steak
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened
  • ½ (4-oz) pkg crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil (or use 1 tsp dried)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill steak, covered, 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Cover with foil, and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Cut into 3 portions.
  3. Grill asparagus, covered, 2 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  4. Stir together butter, cheese, and basil. Dollop blue cheese butter on steaks and asparagus.

  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Sprinkle tomato slices with salt and pepper; drizzle with vinaigrette.
