Sun-Dried Tomato Beef Burgers
French Fries with Balsamic KetchupIngredients
- 1 (8.5-oz) jar oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 6 leaves green leaf lettuce
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
- Drain tomatoes, reserving 3 Tbsp oil from jar. Finely chop tomatoes. Combine beef, Italian seasoning, and chopped tomatoes in a large bowl; shape mixture into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink; top each with 1 slice cheese, and let stand until melted.
- Meanwhile, cook onions in hot reserved oil (from jar) in a large skillet over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes or until very tender. Stir in vinegar, and cook 2 minutes.
- Serve cheese-topped patties, onions, and lettuce on toasted buns.

- 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen French fries
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground mustard
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir together ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and mustard in a bowl. Serve with fries.
