Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg fettuccine (or use 1 [9-oz] pkg refrigerated fettuccine)
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, sauté garlic in melted butter in a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Stir in cream; cook, whisking, until thick and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat; whisk in half of cheese until melted. Add pasta, and toss.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (10.5-oz) pkg frozen breadsticks
  • 1 (11-oz) pkg Caesar salad kit

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake desired number of breadsticks according to package directions.
  2. Toss together salad ingredients in a bowl.
