Garlic Butter Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb flank steak
  • 4 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup white wine (or use low-sodium beef broth)
  • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper, if desired. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet; let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Melt 3 Tbsp butter in same skillet with drippings over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant. Add wine; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir in parsley. Thinly slice steak across the grain. Serve sauce with steak.

  • 1 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • ½ cup vinaigrette-style Caesar dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook mashed potatoes and green beans according to package directions. Toss beans with dressing.
