Old El Paso Mild Taco Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ lb ground pork
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- ⅓ cup orange juice
- 1 small lime, halved
- 3 burrito-size flour tortillas
- ½ (12-oz) round queso fresco, crumbled
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1½ Tbsp butter
Instructions
- Cook pork, onion, and garlic in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 10 minutes. Stir in seasoning mix, cumin, and orange juice. Simmer 2 minutes. Squeeze lime over meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon pork mixture onto tortillas; sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Fold over in half.
- Cook quesadillas in a hot skillet with melted butter over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden. Cut quesadillas into wedges.

- ½ (13-oz) pkg tortilla chips
- ½ (16-oz) container pico de gallo

- Serve desired amount of chips and pico de gallo on the table.
