Old El Paso Mild Taco Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • 1 small lime, halved
  • 3 burrito-size flour tortillas
  • ½ (12-oz) round queso fresco, crumbled
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1½ Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook pork, onion, and garlic in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 10 minutes. Stir in seasoning mix, cumin, and orange juice. Simmer 2 minutes. Squeeze lime over meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Spoon pork mixture onto tortillas; sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Fold over in half.
  3. Cook quesadillas in a hot skillet with melted butter over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden. Cut quesadillas into wedges.

  • ½ (13-oz) pkg tortilla chips
  • ½ (16-oz) container pico de gallo

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve desired amount of chips and pico de gallo on the table.
