Asparagus Hummus with Celery and Carrot Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1¼ lb chicken wings
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ⅛ tsp onion powder
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine wings, oil, oregano, garlic salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, tossing to coat wings.
  2. Transfer wings to a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Add broth. Cover and cook on LOW 6 hours.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 cup canned great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 4 celery stalks, cut into 2-inch sticks
  • 2 carrots, cut into 2-inch sticks

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except celery and carrots in a food processor; pulse until almost smooth.
  2. Serve with celery and carrot sticks.
