Italian Chicken Wings
Asparagus Hummus with Celery and Carrot SticksIngredients
- 1¼ lb chicken wings
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ⅛ tsp onion powder
- Dash of cayenne pepper
- ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Combine wings, oil, oregano, garlic salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, tossing to coat wings.
- Transfer wings to a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Add broth. Cover and cook on LOW 6 hours.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ lb asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup canned great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 4 celery stalks, cut into 2-inch sticks
- 2 carrots, cut into 2-inch sticks
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except celery and carrots in a food processor; pulse until almost smooth.
- Serve with celery and carrot sticks.
