Skillet Chicken Parmesan
Steamed Broccoli and Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1½ cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic salt
Instructions
- Cut chicken in half crosswise and pound to an even thickness in a zip-top plastic bag using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet; season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Cook chicken in hot oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned. Add marinara sauce; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, breadcrumbs, cheese, and garlic salt in a bowl.
- Preheat broiler. Sprinkle cheese mixture over chicken in skillet. Transfer skillet to oven and broil until cheese is melted and breadcrumbs are golden brown.

- 1 (16-oz) loaf garlic bread
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam broccoli according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake bread according to package directions; slice to serve.
