Tuna Croquettes with Spicy Remoulade
Tangy Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 4 (5-oz) cans wild-caught tuna, drained and flaked
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- ¼ cup mayonnaise, divided
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2½ tsp Dijon mustard, divided
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp capers
- 4 lemon wedges
Instructions
- Combine tuna, egg, flour, green onions, 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, lemon juice, 1½ tsp mustard, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Shape mixture into 4 large patties (or 8 small patties).
- Cook patties in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and firm.
- Combine 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tsp mustard, and capers. Serve tuna croquettes with remoulade sauce and lemon wedges.

- 4 cups shredded coleslaw
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp honey
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl, tossing to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
