Bacon-Barbecue Burgers

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 slices colby-Jack cheese
  • 2 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until almost crisp. Drain, and place in a large bowl; cool slightly.
  2. Add beef and seasoning to partially cooked bacon, and stir until blended; shape mixture into 2 patties.
  3. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each patty with 1 slice cheese; cook 1 minute or until melted.
  4. Serve cheese topped patties on buns with barbecue sauce.

  • 1 (16-oz) bag frozen onion rings

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Prepare onion rings according to package directions.
  2. Serve onion rings with burgers.
