Cider-Glazed Pork Chops
Steamed Rice and Lemon-Garlic Green BeansIngredients
- 6 thick-cut boneless pork chops
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup butter
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1½ cups apple cider
Instructions
- Season pork lightly with salt and pepper. Cook pork in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Add butter and sugar to skillet; cook until butter melts. Stir in cider; bring to a boil. Return pork to skillet; reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until sauce is syrupy and pork is done.
- Divide pork among 6 plates; spoon sauce over pork.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1½ cups long-grain white rice
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Cook green beans according to package directions. Drain and toss with butter, lemon zest, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
