Ingredients

  • 6 slices fully cooked bacon
  • ¾ lb ground turkey (or use ground beef)
  • 1½ tsp Montreal chicken seasoning
  • 3 slices colby-Jack cheese (or use Cheddar-Jack cheese)
  • 3 brioche hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Reheat bacon in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp, turning once or twice. Drain, reserving drippings in skillet.
  2. Mix together turkey and seasoning. Shape into 3 patties.
  3. Cook patties in drippings over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center. Add cheese; let stand 1 minute until melted.
  4. Serve turkey cheeseburgers on buns with bacon and, if desired, onion rings. Or serve onion rings on the side.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
  • Ketchup
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg strawberries

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake onion rings according to package directions. Serve with ketchup.
  2. Cut up berries before serving.
