Old El Paso Creamy Queso Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1¼ cups pepperoni slices, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 (14-oz) jar pizza sauce
- 12 (6-or 7-inch) flour tortillas
- 3 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup shredded Italian-blend cheese (or use shredded Parmesan)
- Fresh basil, shredded (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper in a bowl. Spread a heaping Tbsp pizza sauce on each tortilla, slightly off center. Sprinkle each tortilla with cheese mixture.
- From edge closest to you, tightly roll up each tortilla, and place, seam sides down, on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
- Mix together melted butter and garlic; brush over tortillas, coating well. Sprinkle with Italian-blend cheese.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with basil, if desired. Serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping.

- 1 (10-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 (6-oz) pkg crumbled feta cheese
- 1 English cucumber, sliced
- 1 cup pitted kalamata olives
- ½ small red onion, cut into slivers
- ½ cup (or more) Greek vinaigrette (or use olive oil vinaigrette)
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl; toss. Season with freshly ground pepper.
