Philly Cheesesteak Tacos
Ingredients
- ½ lb flank steak
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red or green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 4 corn tortillas, heated
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or use provolone cheese)
Instructions
- Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Cook in 1 tsp hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove from skillet. Let stand 5 minutes; thinly slice across the grain.
- Cook onion and bell pepper in 2 tsp hot oil in same skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until tender. Add beef to skillet, tossing to combine.
- Serve beef mixture in tortillas; sprinkle with cheese.
