Strawberry-Basil Yogurt Parfaits

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, quartered
  • 1 (0.5-oz) pkg fresh basil, finely chopped 
  • 4 (6-oz) cartons low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • ¾ cup sliced roasted almonds

Instructions

  1. Grate zest and squeeze juice from lemon. Whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, and honey in a large bowl. Add berries and basil; toss. Let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Layer yogurt, berry mixture, and nuts into 4 serving glasses or bowls.
