Cilantro-Lime Sauce Burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 (5.4-oz) grass-fed ground beef patties
  • ¾ tsp salt, divided
  • ¾ tsp pepper, divided
  • ¼ cup paleo-friendly mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ Tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 beefsteak tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 head Boston lettuce, leaves separated

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle patties with ½ tsp each salt and pepper. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Transfer to a plate; keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Top patties with tomato, onion, and prepared sauce. Serve burgers using lettuce leaves as buns.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together all ingredients on a large rimmed baking sheet. Spread in a single layer.
  2. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are browned, stirring halfway through baking.
