Apple Butter Pork Chops
Parmesan-Herb Rice and Steamed BroccoliIngredients
- 1½ lb boneless center cut pork loin chops
- ¾ tsp dried thyme
- 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 cup apple butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork with thyme and desired amount of salt. Cook pork in 1 Tbsp hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until done. Remove pork from skillet; keep warm.
- Cook apples in 1 Tbsp hot oil in same skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes or until tender. Add apple butter, cream, and pork to skillet. Cook 2 minutes or until thickened.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 cups long-grain white rice (see Note)
- 2 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam rice according to package directions; toss with cheese, oil, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
