Parmesan Grits and Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb round steak, cut into 6-inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with green peppers, celery, and onion
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Tbsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper. Cook in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned.
  2. Place steak in a 4-or 5-quart slow cooker. Add tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. Serve over Parmesan Grits recipe.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking grits
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ (16-oz) loaf garlic bread

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook grits according to package directions; stir in cheese and butter until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Heat garlic bread according to package directions.
