Slow-Cooker Grillades

Ingredients

  • 2 lb round steak, cut into 6-inch pieces
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1 (28-oz) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned. Transfer to a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
  3. Add tomatoes, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning to cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. Serve over Cheddar Cauli-Grits recipe.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (10-oz) pkg frozen riced cauliflower
  • ⅔ cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook cauliflower rice according to package directions. Stir in cheese .
