Pork with Hull Peas
Sweet Potato FriesIngredients
- 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp pepper
- 1½ lb boneless pork loin, cubed
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen purple hull peas
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Place onion in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
- Combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish; toss pork in flour mixture.
- Sauté pork in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned on all sides.
- Add pork to slow cooker; top with peas. Pour in broth. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours or until pork is done.

- Bake sweet potato fries according to package directions.
