Cinnamon Crunch Bagel French Toast
Chilled Red GrapesIngredients
- 2 large eggs
- 3 Tbsp 1% low-fat milk
- 1 cup crushed cinnamon crunch cereal
- 2 cinnamon-swirl bagels (preferably whole-grain), halved
- 4 Tbsp light butter with canola oil, divided
- 4 tsp powdered sugar
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Whisk together eggs and milk in a shallow dish. Place crushed cereal in a separate dish.
- Dip bagel halves in egg mixture, letting excess drip off. Dredge in cereal to coat.
- Melt 1½ Tbsp light butter in a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add 2 bagel halves, and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining light butter and bagels. Serve with syrup.
