Cheesy Hawaiian Calzones
Melon and Grape Toss
Ingredients
- 2 (13.6-oz) cans refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 (14-oz) jar pizza sauce, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (6-oz) pkg shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 (16-oz) pkg diced cooked ham, drained
- 1 (2.5-oz) pkg real bacon pieces
- 1 (8-oz) can pineapple tidbits, well drained
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Unroll both cans of pizza dough on 2 large greased baking sheets; press each into a large rectangle and cut each in half to make 4 rectangles.
- Spread about ¼ cup pizza sauce over one side of each dough rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border .
- Sprinkle with cheeses, ham, bacon and pineapple; fold dough over filling, crimping edges to seal.
- Cut 1-inch slits in tops of rolls to allow steam to escape. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown; serve with remaining pizza sauce for dipping.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 cantaloupe, seeded and cubed
- 2 cups seedless red grapes
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp honey
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine melon and grapes in a bowl.
- Drizzle with lime juice and honey; toss.
