Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough
  • 6 slices center cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 cups arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook onion in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and tender.
  2. Meanwhile, roll out dough to a 16-inch round on a large greased baking sheet. Prick surface of dough several times with a fork; bake 6 minutes.
  3. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp.
  4. Spread sauce over partially-baked crust. Top with onion, cheese, bacon, and rosemary. Bake 8 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese melts. Top with arugula.
