Sausage Waffle Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen waffles
  • 12 fully-cooked sausage patties
  • 12 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 12 slices American cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat waffles and sausages according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk eggs in a large bowl until blended. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add eggs, and cook without stirring 2 minutes. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until eggs are set. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Layer 1 slice cheese and eggs over 6 crispy waffles; top with 2 sausage patties and 1 slice cheese. Cover with remaining waffles to make sandwiches.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (1-lb) container cubed honeydew
  • 1 (16-oz) container strawberries, quartered

Side Dish Instructions

  1.  Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
