Hoisin-Ginger Chicken
Broccoli-Ramen Noodle Slaw
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ⅓ cup hoisin sauce
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Place chicken in a greased 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
- Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and garlic; pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours or until chicken is done.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (3-oz) pkg chicken- or beef-flavored ramen noodles
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
Side Dish Instructions
- Crush ramen noodles in bag into about 1-inch pieces.
- Whisk together seasoning packet from ramen noodles, oil, vinegar, green onions, and sugar in a large bowl.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add ramen noodles and nuts; sauté 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted. Transfer to mixture in bowl. Add broccoli slaw; toss.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
