Marinated Steak Kabobs
Char-Grilled Corn and Rice and BroccoliIngredients
- Wooden skewers
- 1 lb London broil steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water 30 minutes.
- Combine steak, soy sauce, oil, and garlic in a zip-top plastic bag. Seal bag, and chill 30 minutes or up to 8 hours, turning gently to coat.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
- Thread steak on skewers. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Grill kabobs 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¾ cup long-grain white rice
- 2 ears corn, shucked and cleaned
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, rub corn with ½ Tbsp oil. Grill corn, covered, 10 minutes or until tender and slightly charred.
- Cut kernels from cob; discard cobs. Toss kernels with rice and remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions.
