Breakfast Grilled Cheese
Red, White, and Blue Fruit SaladIngredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 3 Tbsp butter, softened and divided
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 sliceds provolone cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- Whisk eggs in a large bowl until smooth; season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add eggs, and cook, stirring occasionally, until set. Remove from heat.
- Spread remaining butter on one side of each bread slice. Top 2 nonbuttered sides with 1 slice cheese, eggs, bacon, and remaining cheese. Cover with bread slices, buttered sides up.
- Cook sandwiches in skillet over medium heat until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- ½ (4.4-oz) pkg blueberries
- 1 banana, sliced

- Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
