Raspberry-Basil Sparkling Lemonade

Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 (0.5-oz) pkg fresh basil
  • 1 (52-oz) pkg raspberry lemonade
  • 2 (12-oz) bottles sparkling water
  • Garnish: lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, and basil in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until combined. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  2. Fill 6 Old-fashioned glasses with ice. Fill glasses half full with raspberry lemonade; add 2 Tbsp prepared syrup to each glass. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with lemon.
