Quick Chili Cheeseburgers with Fried Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 ground beef patties
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15-oz) can chili
  • 2 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • ½ (2.8-oz) container French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Season patties with salt and pepper. Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers. Top each with 1 slice cheese, and let stand until melted.
  2. Meanwhile, heat chili according to directions on can.
  3. Serve patties on buns topped with desired amount of chili and fried onions.

  • ½ (11-oz) pkg lime tortilla chips
  • 1 (8-oz) container guacamole

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve chips and desired amount of guacamole on each plate.
