Creamy Cajun Pasta
Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg penne pasta
- 1 (14-oz) pkg andouille smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 (14.5-oz) cans diced tomatoes
- 6 oz cream cheese
- ¾ tsp Cajun seasoning
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage, onion, and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet 6 to 8 minutes or until sausage is browned and onion is tender.
- Stir in tomatoes, cream cheese, and seasoning; cook 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Stir in pasta, tossing to coat. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen thin green beans
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
