Raspberry Bourbon Rickey

Ingredients

  • ½ lime
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • 1½ to 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 tsp simple syrup
  • ½ cup tangerine-flavored sparkling water, chilled
  • Garnishes: lime wedges and raspberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze lime half over a cocktail shaker half filled with ice, and drop it in. Add raspberries, and muddle slightly.
  2. Add whiskey, simple syrup, and ice to fill cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass filled half full with ice. Top with sparkling water. Garnish, if desired. Makes 1 serving.
