Pineapple-Steak Bites
Rice and BroccoliIngredients
- ¾ lb top sirloin steak, cubed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ peeled and cored pineapple, cubed
Instructions
- Toss together steak, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
- Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
- Return all steak to skillet, and stir in pineapple; cook until heated. Serve over rice.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¾ cup long-grain white rice
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
