Pineapple-Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb top sirloin steak, cubed
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ peeled and cored pineapple, cubed

Instructions

  1. Toss together steak, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
  2. Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  3. Return all steak to skillet, and stir in pineapple; cook until heated. Serve over rice.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ¾ cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Steam broccoli according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
