Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough (see Note)
  • 3 slices center cut bacon, chopped
  • ½ cup Alfredo sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • ¾ tsp dried crushed rosemary
  • 1 cup arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook onion in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and tender.
  2. Meanwhile, roll out dough to an 8-inch round on a greased baking sheet. Prick surface of dough several times with a fork; bake 6 minutes.
  3. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp.
  4. Spread sauce over partially-baked crust. Top with onion, cheese, bacon, and rosemary. Bake 8 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese melts. Top with arugula.
