Quick Korean Beef Bowls
Brown Rice and Steamed BroccoliIngredients
- 6 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup plus 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- ¾ tsp crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 3 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 3 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, sugar, oil, red pepper, and ginger in a small bowl.
- Cook garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 1 minute or until fragrant. Add beef; cook 6 to 8 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Drain, if needed.
- Stir in soy sauce mixture and onions; cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated and beef is done. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
- 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
