Korean Barbecue Burgers

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped and divided
  • 1½ Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 sesame seed hamburger buns, split
  • ½(16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, 1 chopped onion, soy sauce, oil, sugar, ginger, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Shape mixture into 2 patties.
  2. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute or until toasted.
  3. Stir together coleslaw, 2 chopped onions, mayonnaise, and Sriracha in a large bowl. Serve burgers on buns with desired amount of coleslaw.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake onion rings according to package directions. Serve with burgers.
