Quick Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef 
  • 1 (16-oz) can chili beans, drained
  • ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ (10-oz) pkg corn chips
  • ½ head romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded colby-Jack cheese
  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Add beans, seasoning, and water. Cook 3 minutes or until very thick.
  2. Layer chips, lettuce, beef mixture, and cheese on a platter or in a bowl. Toss just before serving. Top with tomato and sour cream.
