Teriyaki-Sesame Tuna

Sesame-Ginger Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1⅓ cup sugar-free teriyaki sauce
  • ¼ cup sesame oil 
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 lb tuna steaks 
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine teriyaki sauce, oil, ginger, and lime juice in a shallow bowl or zip-top plastic bag. Add tuna steaks. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat; remove tuna from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill tuna 2 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.

  • 5 cups broccoli slaw
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
  • ½ Tbsp grated ginger
  • ½ Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce 
  • 1 tsp fish sauce

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Place broccoli slaw in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together remaining ingredients; drizzle over slaw. Toss and chill until ready to serve.
