Cheesy Beef and Pasta Bake
Caesar Salad and Buttery Italian BreadIngredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6-oz) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 12 oz linguine
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and sugar; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain, and place in a large bowl. Add sour cream, cream cheese, and garlic powder; stirring until blended.
- Place pasta mixture into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Spoon beef mixture over pasta and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

- 1 (16-oz) loaf Italian bread, sliced
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 (11.5-oz) pkg Caesar salad kits
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Wrap bread loaf in foil, leaving top exposed. Pour melted butter over top of bread; sprinkle with seasoning. Bake 10 minutes .
- Prepare salad according to package directions.
