Spicy Herbed Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1½ tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1½ tsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken, cilantro, oil, honey, red pepper, and garlic in a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker, tossing to coat. Add broth, soy sauce, and vinegar.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 5 hours. Sprinkle with green onions.

  • 1 tsp honey
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg baby spinach
  • 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 red apple, thinly sliced

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Whisk together orange juice, oil, honey, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Add spinach, celery, and apple; toss.
