Macaroni and Cheese Bowls
Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen popcorn chicken
- 1 (16-oz) pkg elbow macaroni
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (2.52-oz) pkg fully-cooked bacon
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Cook chicken according to package directions.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; stir in flour and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and Dijon; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Cheddar until melted. Stir in macaroni.
- Heat bacon in microwave according to package directions; coarsely chop.
- Divide macaroni and cheese among 6 bowls. Top with desired amount of chicken, Monterey Jack cheese, and bacon.
