Brined Apple-Rosemary Pork Chops
Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes and Brown Sugar Green BeansIngredients
- 4 cups no-sugar-added apple juice
- ¼ cup kosher salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- 6 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and halved
- 2 lb boneless pork sirloin chops
Instructions
- Combine apple juice, salt, sugar, rosemary, and garlic in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add pork chops, seal bag, and chill at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove pork from brine; discard brine. Pat pork dry with paper towels. Grill pork, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Side Dish Instructions
- Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
- Cook beans in boiling water to cover 6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and rinse under cold water; drain again.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add garlic, and cook 30 seconds. Add beans and brown sugar; cook, stirring, 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
