Grilled London Broil

Cinnamon-Brown Sugar Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 lb London broil
  • ¼ cup gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Place steak in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, oil, and honey. Seal bag, turning to coat, and marinate in refrigerator at least 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade.
  3. Grill steak, covered, 7 to 10 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil 
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  Place potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet; rub with oil.  Bake 45 minutes or until tender.
  2. Cut a lengthwise slit in each potato; fluff with a fork. Add butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to each potato.
  3. Steam green beans according to package directions.
