Biscuit Burgers with Cheese Sauce
Onion RingsIngredients
- 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated flaky-layer biscuits
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Bake biscuits according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, combine beef and seasoning; shape mixture into 6 patties. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook, whisking occasionally until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Gradually stir in cheese until melted.
- Cut biscuits in half. Serve patties on biscuits topped with cheese sauce.
