Ingredients

  • 1½ lb flank steak, trimmed
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Place steak on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Combine oil, rosemary, thyme, and garlic in a bowl; brush oil mixture on steak. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  3. Broil 4 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes; thinly slice steak across the grain.

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook green beans in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add butter, and cook 3 minutes or until butter browns and smells nutty, stirring beans often. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in vinegar, salt, and pepper.
