Beef and Broccoli Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 (8.5-oz) pouches microwavable jasmine rice
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 1½ lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cook rice and broccoli according to package directions; set aside.
  2. Cook steak and onion in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet 5 minutes or until browned. Remove steak, and keep warm.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
  4. Add steak and steamed broccoli to skillet. Stir soy sauce mixture into skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring often. Serve over rice.
