Avocado Margarita

Ingredients

  • Tajín seasoning
  • Lime wedge
  • ½ avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1½ oz gold tequila
  • 1 oz sour mix
  • ½ Tbsp pickled jalapeño juice
  • Garnishes: cherry tomatoes and pickled jalapeño slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle seasoning on a small plate. Rub lime wedge around rim of an old-fashioned glass; dip rim of glass in seasoning to coat.
  2. Add avocado to a cocktail shaker; muddle. Add tequila, sour mix, jalapeño juice, and ice to fill cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until chilled, about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into prepared glass filled half full with ice. Garnish, if desired.
