Pretzel Wrapped Brats
Ingredients
- 1 (15-oz) pkg already-rolled out bakery pizza dough
- 12 plant-based sausage links, cut into 1½-inch pieces
- 6 cups water
- ¼ cup baking soda
- 2 Tbsp kosher salt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Roll dough into a 16-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough into 1-inch-thick strips; cut strips 5 inches in length.
- Wrap one strip around each brat piece, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Meanwhile, bring water and baking soda to a boil in a saucepan. Dip dough-wrapped brats into water mixture for 15 seconds. Return to baking sheet, and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Stir together mayonnaise, mustard, honey, vinegar, and cayenne in a bowl. Serve with brats for dipping.
