Pretzel Wrapped Brats

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz) pkg already-rolled out bakery pizza dough
  • 12 plant-based sausage links, cut into 1½-inch pieces
  • 6 cups water
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Roll dough into a 16-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough into 1-inch-thick strips; cut strips 5 inches in length.
  3. Wrap one strip around each brat piece, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Meanwhile, bring water and baking soda to a boil in a saucepan. Dip dough-wrapped brats into water mixture for 15 seconds. Return to baking sheet, and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Stir together mayonnaise, mustard, honey, vinegar, and cayenne in a bowl. Serve with brats for dipping.
