Grilled Hamburger Steaks

Crispy Smashed Potatoes and Steamed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • ¾ cup gluten-free panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, panko, Worcestershire sauce, and egg; shape mixture into 6 patties.
  2. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, and garlic powder. Serve with hamburger steaks.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 lb small red potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook potatoes in boiling water 10 minutes or until just tender; drain and place on a greased rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Using a potato masher, mash each potato until flattened, but still intact. Drizzle with oil, garlic salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges of potatoes are browned and crispy.
  4. Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
