Chicken Jambalaya
Garlic BreadIngredients
- ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 (15-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8-oz) pkg jambalaya rice mix
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Cook chicken in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until chicken is done .
- Stir in water, tomatoes, jambalaya mix, and seasoning. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat, and let stand 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with green onions, if desired.
