Creamy Garlic-Herb Steak Bites
Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli
Ingredients
- 1½ lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup garlic-herb spreadable cheese
Instructions
- Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Cook steak, in 2 batches, in 1 Tbsp hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or until well browned. Remove from skillet.
- Cook mushrooms in 1 Tbsp hot oil in the same skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until almost tender, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Add cream and cheese. Cook 1 minute, stirring until cheese melts.
- Add steak to mushroom sauce. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces (see Note)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- 1 (15-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
Side Dish Instructions
- Bring potatoes and water to cover to a boil in a large Dutch oven. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until tender; drain and return to pot.
- Mash potatoes, milk, and sour cream with a potato masher to desired consistency; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
